Prenatal education can assist you in feeling prepared for birth. The consultation will cover a wide variety of education based on what your needs are. Initial Lactation Consultations
Initial postpartum consultations cover a wide range of education and support from maternal/medical intakes, latching assistance, understanding milk production, hand expression technique, learning how to operate breast pumps, infant pre-and-post feed weight checks, breast care and more. Families will receive a feeding care plan at the end of the visit. Appointments are available in-home or in-office.Follow-up Lactation Consultations
Follow-up consultations will include in-depth education and support to meet the needs of your lactation journey. Assessments from the initial consultation will be repeated in addition to pre-and-post feed weight checks. Appointments are available in-home or in-office depending on acuity of need.We are in-network with Aetna, Cigna & Tricare. Please text/call or email to schedule an appointment to use insurance!
